"The Brooklyn Bridge" - Silver, Burdett & Ginn
brooklynbridge.jpg

"The Brooklyn Bridge" was created using waterproof india ink with Winsor-Newton watercolors.

Grand Slam Trivia was an interactive computer game designed for Apple computers. I designed the corporate logo for DataKnight and created the artwork, packaging, advertisements and the computer animated graphics for the game.
(The game was NEVER marketed!)

"The 50% Solution"
the50solution.jpg

"The 50% Solution" was created OVERNIGHT for Doubleday Books. Another artist had delivered unacceptable artwork and I completed this illustration using waterproof india ink and a Pelican KID'S watercolor set, working on a friend's kitchen table as my drawing environment. It was reprinted in Publisher's Weekly and the actual painting was sold to head of the U.S./OPEC Negotiating Team.

"The House of Science" - John Wiley & Sons

"The House of Science" was the third book created for Phil Holzinger, all of which included full color covers and black and white interior illustrations.

This cover illustration was created using india ink with a watercolor wash, with winsor Newton inks and watercolors plus Liquitex acrylics layered for the sky. There were also over 40 detailed, black and white interior illustrations included in the book.
