Jack Crane

I entered the world of professional illustration using the centuries old traditional techniques and materials of pen, brush and paint. At the end of the 1980's, several of my clients encouraged me to enter the digital world and I purchased my first MacIntosh computer. Since then, I have almost equally divided my creative endeavors in both worlds; that of the traditional artist and that of the hi-tech digital one. Both have brought their own type of satisfaction.

Throughout my career as an artist I have striven to create both aesthetic and educational art that would both inform and entertain. My primary objective has been excellence in all that I have created ... and to have fun while accomplishing that objective.
